I’m Kok Jun Sern, an HRDC-certified and accredited trainer, professional emcee, and communications coach with over 15 years of experience in public speaking, corporate training, and event hosting. My career has taken me across diverse industries, from advertising, broadcasting, and e-commerce to technology and business networking and I hold an MBA in International Business from the University of East London as well as a Professional Diploma in Sales and Marketing.
My journey began in broadcasting, where I hosted and produced interviews with prominent figures, including politicians, cultural icons, and international dignitaries. These experiences taught me the art of connection — how to truly engage an audience and bring out meaningful stories.
Over the years, I’ve worked extensively with SMEs, corporate leaders, and professionals, helping them position their brands, sharpen their communication skills, and boost their confidence on stage and in the boardroom. My training style is interactive and practical — blending real-world examples, hands-on activities, and a touch of stagecraft to make learning impactful and memorable.
As an event host and emcee, I’ve brought energy and clarity to major corporate events, high-level conferences, and international forums, ensuring every audience stays engaged from start to finish.
My mission is simple: to help people speak with confidence, lead with clarity, and connect with impact whether they’re delivering a keynote, leading a team, or representing their brand to the world.
Why I do this?
Driven by a genuine love for helping others grow, I’ve built my journey around sharing insights, skills, and experiences with those ready to take the next step in their personal or professional lives. I believe that learning has the power to change lives and circumstances, it’s not just about gaining knowledge, but about gaining the confidence and opportunities that come with it.
I’ve personally experienced that breakthrough, the moment when something clicks, when you realise you’re capable of more than you imagined. That shift changed my life, and I want others to experience it too. After all, knowledge can transform opportunity and lives.
My passion for mentoring began early, guiding juniors and peers, and witnessing their successes gave me a deep sense of fulfilment. Those moments fueled my dedication to keep learning and to pass on what I’ve learned.
